Uniting the European health and life science ecosystem for a sustainable future

October 8-9 2025 in the heart of Innovation District Copenhagen

Part of the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2025

About

Join us for Copenhagen Life Science Summit, a two-day high-level conference – part of Denmark’s EU Presidency 2025 – hosted by Rigshospitalet and Healthcare Denmark, taking place in Copenhagen on October 8-9 2025.

The high-level conference will bring together academia, decision-makers, public health organisations, industry, and patient organisations from across EU27+, creating an international forum for the European life Science ecosystem to meet, exchange insights, and engage in discussions on the European Strategy for Life Sciences. The conference will explore the state of the current EU health and life science ecosystem, highlight the need for a strong, integrated European ecosystem, and create recommendations for the European Life Science Strategy and framework for research and innovation.

Together, we will explore how Europe can advance its position as a leading life science region – ensuring our competitiveness and contributing to more resilient, innovative health systems that benefit patients across Europe.

Copenhagen Life Science Summit is financially supported by the European Commission; the Danish Ministry for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs; the Danish Ministry for Higher Education and Science; and Novo Nordisk Foundation.
