Claudia Louati is Head of Policy at the European Patients’ Forum where she joined in May 2023.
She leads EPF’s policy and advocacy work, ensuring that the patient perspective is meaningfully integrated into health policies. Claudia guides EPF’s policy and regulatory engagement with EU and international stakeholders and contributes to strengthening the voice of patients in shaping healthcare systems that meet their needs.
Before joining EPF, Claudia worked for nearly seven years at the Europe Office of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, based at the U.S. Mission to the EU in Brussels, where she promoted EU-U.S. regulatory collaboration on medical products. She began her career as a communications and public affairs consultant in Brussels.
On October 9 at Maersk Tower, Claudia will take part in the panel debate Spreading the Gains: Enhancing Access to Innovative Healthcare Across the EU.
