Mai-Britt Zocca is President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IO Biotech (IOBT, Nasdaq NY).

Mai-Britt is a Tumor Immunologist and holds a PhD from NIH, NCI and University of Copenhagen.
Since 2014 she has been the CEO of IO Biotech a company operating both in Denmark, Europe and the US and has successfully completed several financing rounds incl. the largest series B round in 2021 (150 M US) followed by an IPO (100 M US) later that year on Nasdaq in NY, US. She has built IOBT ‘s pipeline from early clinical stage through phase 3 and generated strong clinical data based on novel biology.

Mai-Britt has founded several biotech companies either as founding CEO or founding board member and current holds board positions both in Danish Biotech and Dansk Erhverv.

On October 8 at Rigshospitalet, Mai-Britt will take part in the panel discussion Turbocharging the European Ecosystem in Life Sciences – Innovation District Europe.
