Jakob is the Executive Officer of Healthcare Denmark, a public-private partnership and non-profit organization representing the Danish healthcare and life science ecosystem internationally. Healthcare Denmark has a particular focus on international multistakeholder partnerships levering on Danish strongholds in solving global healthcare challenges.

Born in 1970, Jakob holds a master’s degree in economics, business administration and commercia law from Aarhus University, School of Business and Social Sciences.

Prior to working for Healthcare Denmark, Jakob served for more than 20 years as a diplomat with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and har served at Danish missions in Singapore, China, Japan, USA as well as with the Permanent Representation of Denmark to the European Union.

On October 8 at Copenhagen City Hall, Jakob will give the closing remarks.
