Ida Sofie Jensen is Former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lif – The Danish Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry.

Ida is a board member of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) and serves on both the Danish Medicines Council and the national Life Science Council.

Being a member of the Danish National Life Science Council, Ida has been actively involved in shaping Denmark’s life science strategy and has in addition to this contributed significantly to the development of the European life science strategy, which was launched by the European Commission in July.

Ida holds a master’s degree in political science and is the former CEO of Herlev University Hospital.

On October 8 at Rigshospitalet, Ida will co-chair at the round table discussion 5: Addressing regulatory challenges in Europe for smooth and rapid market access.
