Eva Hoffmann

Prorector for Research and Innovation, University of Copenhagen 

Eva Hoffmann is pro-rector for research and innovation at the University of Copenhagen.

Hoffmann is a professor in molecular genetics and previously served as Head of Department at the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine from 2022 to 2025. She has held several leadership positions, including serving on the Executive Board of ReproUnion, and as co-founder of a start-up, OvartiX.

She holds a BA in Biology and DPhil in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford, and her research focusses on reproductive health and genetics in human conceptions. As pro-rector, Hoffmann is focused on expanding and enhancing quality in research, knowledge transfer, and partnerships with public and private entities.
