Elizabeth Macintyre

President, Biomedical Alliance in Europe

Elizabeth Macintyre is the President of the Biomedical Alliance in Europe.

Elizabeth is a past-President of the European Hematology Association (EHA), Member of the Virchow Foundation for Global Health Council, and Professor of Diagnostic Hematology at Université Paris Cité and Necker Enfants-Malades Hospital, where she also co-directs an INSERM/CNRS research team. She holds an MD and clinical training from the UK, obtained her PhD at St. Louis Hospital in Paris, France and completed her postdoctoral research at Harvard University.

Her research focuses on immature T-cell leukemias and lymphomas, as well as Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) quantification, with a strong commitment to advancing equitable access to diagnostics across Europe.

On October 8 at Rigshospitalet, Elizabeth will take part in the panel discussion Position EU as the world’s most attractive place for Life Science.
