Dr. Bernd Ohnesorge, PhD, is President of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Siemens Healthineers since 2016.

Previously, Dr. Ohnesorge held several leading positions at Siemens Healthineers, including Head of the Business Units Magnetic Resonance (2011-2015) and X-Ray Imaging Products (2010-2011), as well as the Head of Siemens Healthcare in China and North-East Asia (2006-2010).

He joined Siemens after the completion of his master’s degree in data communication and digital signal processing at the University of Erlangen in 1994. While serving in several R&D and management positions within the Computed Tomography Business Unit between 1994 and 2006, he finished his PhD thesis on methods for cardiac CT imaging in June 2002 at the Institute of Clinical Radiology of the Ludwig-Maximilian-University in Munich, Germany.

Dr. Bernd Ohnesorge lives with his wife and three children in Erlangen.

On October 8 at Rigshospitalet, Bernd will participate in the panel discussion Turbocharging the European Ecosystem in Life Sciences – Innovation District Europe.
